Technical Note

"Original" is a specific digital printmaking term used to contextualize art forms that are produced as multiples, such as cast bronze sculptures or Fine Art Limited Edition Prints. Thus, each piece is considered a “multiple original.” Originality ultimately has to do with intent and execution. An original print is one that the artist, from conception, intended to produce as a print and hence, is not a printed copy of another medium. Alternately, when an artist chooses to have an existing original painting or drawing made into a print and editioned, that print is considered a reproduction of the original, and therefore not an original itself.

The purpose of my work is to transport the viewer into another world, in which one's senses are concentrated on the play of natural light and shadows .....

Most of my works are people as subjects with freedom of colors to fill the dimensions of the canvas for a strong and sharp defined composition with soft faces and strong light background.

Each painting is an awareness of beauty in their ambiguous mystery of life.

Most of the medias are oils on canvas and charcoal with acrylics, pen & ink with watercolors.
